Arrests

RED SPRINGS — Dessie Lambert Tyler, 42, of 151 Wicker Road in Red Springs, was arrested on Sunday and charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and conspiracy, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. She is being held in the Robeson County jail on a $7,000 bond.

ST. PAULS — Deavonte Maurice Willis, 17, of 132 Mape Leaf Drive, and Kadeem Deon Inman, 18, of 468 Corner Oak Drive, were arrested on Monday and charged with armed robbery, first-degree burglary and conspiracy, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. Willis and Inman were each given a $25,000 bond.

Armed robbery

LUMBERTON — Tatum Hall, 24, of Show Shoe at 2800 N. Elm St., reported on Saturday that someone entered the store at about 9:41 p.m., pulled out a gun, pointed it at her head and took $2,060.89 cash belonging to the business, according to a police report.

Hall reported that a $35 purse containing a $20 driver’s license and identification cards was also taken.

LUMBERTON — Victor Richardson, of Martin Luther King Drive, reported on Sunday that an acquaintance cut him with a razor and took his pump shotgun valued at $200, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — William McEachin, of Cheryl Drive, reported on Sunday that someone pointed a handgun to his head and took a cell phone valued at $79.99, jewelry valued at $7,600, a $50 set of keys and a $20 wallet containing an identification card valued at $10, according to a police report.

Fraud

LUMBERTON — Misty Lynn Jacobs, of Sun-Do at 3565 Roberts Ave., reported on Saturday that someone attempted to pay for merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Nicole Thompson, of Lumbee River Electric Membership Corporation at 301 Bailey Road, reported on Friday that someone attempted to pay a bill with two counterfeit $20 bills, according to a police report.

Theft

Ronald Hunt, of Sunrise Road in Pembroke, reported on Thursday that someone took a $4,000 trailer while it was parked at Lowes at 5060 Fayetteville Road, according to a police report.

Break-ins

The following people reported break-ins to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Wicker Road is not in Red Springs city limits, therefore she'd be disqualified in the Miss Red Springs contest for being out of district. I think it's more like Miss Thunder Valley.

It is amazing to me that these two punks were released on $25k bonds. They are a real menace to society and should not get out. They are probably robbing someone else right now!!
