Crime reports for Nov. 7
LUMBERTON — Stephen Hunt, 17, of 2343 Norment Road, was arrested Thursday and charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and larceny of a motor vehicle, according to a sheriff’s report.
He was being under a $5,000 bond.
LUMBERTON — Randall Cummings, 17, of 129 Suggs Road, was arrested Thursday and charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and larceny of a motor vehicle, according to a sheriff’s report.
He was being held under a $10,000 bond.
LUMBERTON — Strawdie Hardin, 27, of 9701 N.C. 72 East was arrested on Friday and charged with common law robbery and simple assault on a handicapped person, according to a sheriff’s report.
She was being held at the Robeson County jail under a $5,000 bond.
LUMBERTON — Candice Hodge, 26, of 259 Millan Ave., was arrested on Wednesday and charged with trafficking opium, obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, and impersonating a medical practitioner, according to a police report.
She was released under a $50,000 unsecured bond.
LUMBERTON — Mickey Revels, 47, of Saddletree Road, reported on Thursday that someone broke into his home and stole $4,500 in jewelry and $2,300 in electronics, according to a sheriff’s report.
Damage to a door was $500.
PEMBROKE — Dean Jones, 53, of Woods Road, reported on Thursday that someone broke into his home and stole $3,700 in guns and $200 in ammunition, according to a sheriff’s report.
Damage to a door was $200.
LUMBERTON — Lynette Guevara, 39, of N.C. 211, reported on Thursday that someone broke into her home and stole property, according to a sheriff’s report.
Missing were $1,200 in bedroom furniture, $575 in electronics, $400 in clothes, $400 in food, $100 in jewelry, and $60 in shoes.
PEMBROKE — Armund Davis, 27, of Allendale Drive, reported on Thursday that someone broke into his car while it was parked at his home and stole $4,200 in electronics, according to a sheriff’s report.
LUMBERTON — Kelly Phillips, 29, of Greenville Road, reported on Thursday that someone broke into her home and stole $2,500 in jewelry, $950 in electronics, and a $30 jewelry box, according to a sheriff’s report.
Damages were $350 to a back door, $300 to an American Indian statue, $150 to a table, and $100 to an entertainment center.
PEMBROKE — Daniel Woriax, 24, of Anita Drive, reported on Thursday that someone broke into his home and stole a $1,300 television and a $1,000 heat pump, according to a sheriff’s report.
LUMBERTON — Sun-Do on Kendric Drive reported on Thursday that someone broke into the store and stole $2,532 in tobacco products and $30 in energy drinks, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Bell Boy Corporation of St. Louis Park, Minn., reported on Thursday that someone broke into a tractor trailer while it parked at the U.S. Cold Storage on Kenny Biggs Road and stole $600 in turkey breasts, according to a police report.
Damage to a door latch was $200.
LUMBERTON — Charles Evers, 60, of McPhail Road, reported on Thursday that someone broke into his home and stole $400 in guns, according to police report.
Damage to a door was $450.
LUMBERTON — Theodore Gladney, 29, of Pinecrest Drive, reported on Thursday that someone stole his 1987 Chevrolet Caprice from Interstate 95 after it broke down, according to a sheriff’s report.
It was valued at $3,000.
PARKTON — Von McDonald, 73, of Greensboro, reported on Thursday that someone stole $1,200 worth of plywood from his farm on Chason Road, according to a sheriff’s report.
ROWLAND — Charles Leach, 48, of Hubbard Road, reported on Thursday that someone stole property from him at a residence in Wisteria Village, Lumberton, according to a sheriff’s report.
Missing were $3,200 in golf equipment, $1,000 in clothes, $450 in shoes, a $150 cellular phone and a $150 sugar testing machine.
LUMBERTON — Carolyn Reaves, 42, of Meadow Road, reported on Thursday that a man armed with a knife stole property from her while she was in her yard, according to police report. Reaves was not injured.
Stolen were were $286 in cash, an $80 ring, a $45 purse, and $10 in keys. Reaves described the robber as a white or indian man with a tattoo on his right hand, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
