We salute the services of your nothin-in-law! Uncp has some great cultural offerings that can enrich life. Bravo to glacier and everyone there thay works to bring in wholesome and enjoyable entertainment. That's one reason that I post on here about Meadoes. uNCP is, or can be, a light in a dark place. And for it to have been so abused during the Meadors years makes me very, very angry. That man could win a prize for being a con artist, with as many defenders as I've seen reading this paper. Underneath his "hail fellow, well met" exterior that was busy cramming students into the school by lowering requirements, busy spending bond money that the UNC system allocated to him, and busy claiming credit for everything else that the faculty and staff actually accomplished, he and his missus were just selfish, hateful leaches on a system, operating by creating fear. Heck, I bet he even takes credit for cleaning the toilets there during his tenure. He did everything else, if you read his vita. Well, that's enough of the meadors chronicles for today.
Thanks Dr. Carter for supporting culture and education.
