ROWLAND —Doll Locklear Blue, 65, of 44 Pills Drive, departed this life on March 14, 2013, at her home. Doll was born in Scotland County on Nov. 25, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Hubert Locklear and Hester Bell Locklear.

The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at United Pentecostal Church on Carthage Road in Lumberton, the Rev. Roy Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow in the Raynham Assembly of God Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Hubert Locklear Jr.

Doll graduated from Robeson Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for 25 years. She was an active member in her church and community.

Doll is survived by her husband of 45 years, Neil (Jack) Blue; three sons, Neil (Junior) Blue and wife Genelle of St. Pauls, Toby (Chris) Blue and wife Shona of Garner and Cory Blue and fiancé Casey of Lumberton; two sisters, Curley Blue and Aline Blue, both of Rowland; two brothers, Wilma Lee (Kaiser) Locklear of Rowland and Mitchell Locklear of Pembroke; four grandchildren, Nakota, Jaron, Jaxon, and Chole ; two special nieces, Brandie Carter and Lawenda Williamson; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home Lumberton.
