Dorothy Elizabeth Cox Saunders, 33, of 5469 Fairway Forest Drive, formerly of Red Springs, died Nov. 3, 2009, at Forsythe Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. today at New Horizon Church of God in Christ in Maxton, Pastor John I. Brown officiating. Burial will be at Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs.

Surviving are husband, David Saunders Sr. of Winston-Salem; children, David Jr., Raine, Trinity, Eleanor, Mahogany, Tsion, Evangeline, Hezikiah and Israel of Winston-Salem; parents, Jimmy and Deloris Cox Sr. of Red Springs; sister, Jeanette Williams of Raleigh; and brother, Jimmy Cox Jr. of Raleigh.
