Dwayne Paul Jones, 22, of 2539 St. Anna Road, was born Dec. 12, 1989, to Dwayne and Paula Jones and departed this life on Sept. 30, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Prospect United Methodist Church, the Revs. Kenneth Locklear, Bill James Locklear and Herbert Lowry officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
Dwayne Paul was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ella Jones and James R. McMillan and maternal grandmother, Pauline Brooks.
In addition to his parents, Dwayne Paul leaves to cherish his memories his loving daughter, Bralei Peyton Jones of Raeford; two brothers, Patrick Blanie Jones of Pembroke and Justin Strickland (Krystal) of Maxton; a sister, Juanita Jones of Maxton; maternal grandfather, Paul Brooks of the home; paternal grandmother, Janice McMillan of Matthews; a special aunt, Penny Brooks of the home; a special uncle, Blanie Jones of Maxton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today at Prospect United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Grace at 145 Grace Drive, Fairmont, N.C. 28340.
Services entrusted to Thompson’s Funeral Home in Pembroke.
