Edna Cox

LUMBERTON — Edna Bullard Cox, 77, passed away March 14, 2013, at Southeastern Health of Lumberton.

A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Mount Elim Baptist Church Cemetery, the Revs. James Graham and Kelly Townsend officiating.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1935, in Robeson County to the late Albert Bullard and the late Lilar Herring Bullard. She was formerly employed at Jasper Mills.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hall James Cox; her parents; and a sister, Eva Mizzell.

Cox is survived by her son, James A. Cox of Lumberton; her daughter, Joyce Cox Townsend and husband Ronnie of Lumberton; her brother, Jim Bullard of Lumberton; her sister, Elizabeth Warwick of Thomasville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
