Melissa Jones and James William O’Donnell of Lumberton announce the engagement of their daughter Alexandria Beth Locklear to James William Roberts, the son of Mary and Perry Roberts of Maxton.
Locklear is the granddaughter of Selena and Donnie Lowery or Lumberton. She attends The University of North Carolina at Pembroke and works for the university.
Roberts is the grandson of Herbert and Vastie Roberts of Maxton and Mary Edna Locklear and the late Donald Clark of Maxton. He attended Purnell Swett High School and works for Walmart Distribution of Hope Mills.
The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. on Dec. 15, at Smyrna Baptist Church.
