LUMBERTON — The Lumberton Lioness Club will hold a Rada knife sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Biggs Park Mall.

Proceeds will benefit visually impaired people in Lumberton.

SADDLETREE — There will be a yard sale, raffle and chicken bog sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Saddletree Community Building.

ORRUM — The Bethesda United Methodist Church’s annual bazaar and barbecue plate sale will be Saturday at the church in Orrum.

The bazaar featuring quilts, woodwork and Christmas decorations opens at 10 a.m. The plate sale runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.

LUMBERTON — “The Great Escape” comes back to the big screen at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Carolina Civic Center.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased by calling (910) 738-4339 or in person from 1 to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at the Carolina Civic Center on the Fourth Street side.

PEMBROKE — The gospel play “Why me, Lord?” will be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday at Givens Performing Arts Center in Pembroke.

FAIRMONT — The fourth annual Fairmont Veterans Day ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fairmont Fire Hall. The Rev. Gary Deese will speak.

There will also be a sidewalk sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in downtown Fairmont.

LUMBERTON — The family of Thomas Davis will hold a reunion at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Iona Presbyterian Church. Bring a covered dish.
