Fashion extravaganza set at Civic Center

LUMBERTON — ADD FlaVour Boutique, along with other designers and boutiques, will hold a Lumberton Fashion Extravaganza on Saturday at the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater from 1 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Vendors will also sell clothes from 1 to 4 p.m. during a free event. A fashion show will begin at 5:30 p.m. featuring step and dance teams, bands and soloists as well as models of all ages. There is a charge for the fashion show: $10 for adults, $5 for youths ages 5 to 17, and free for children younger than 5.

Part of the proceeds will benefit local charities.

American Girl fashion show in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE — Tickets are now available for the Child Advocacy Center of Fayetteville’s American Girl Fashion Show, which will be held on March 23 and March 24, 2013, at the Crown Center Ballroom.

Proceeds from the program, which will showcase historical and contemporary fashions for girls and their dolls, will benefit the Child Advocacy Center’s child abuse prevention and intervention programs.
