Free movie at downtown plaza

LUMBERTON — The movie “Chronicles of Narnia — Prince Caspian” will be shown on the big screen at 8 p.m. on Friday in the plaza downtown.

Admission is free, and hot dogs, popcorn and soda will be for sale. Bring lawn chairs.

Fit, Family, Fun day on Saturday

FAIRMONT — Fit, Family, Fun Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Fairmont Community Park.

There will be Zumba instruction, yoga/tai chi classes, healthy food demonstrations, medical personnel to offer advice and answer questions, and diet tips. There will be a 5K run/walk at 11 a.m.

Musical show set for May 15

PEMBROKE — Studio One Lab Series’ spring musical, “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,” will be performed from May 12 to May 15.

The show will be at 7:30 p.m. on May 12, May 13 and May 14, and at 2:30 p.m. on May 15. On May 13, there will be an extra showing at 10 a.m.
