LUMBERTON — Three-year-old Johanna Barnes Hunt recently won the title of 2011 North Carolina Sunburst Little Pee Wee Queen.
Along with the title, she also won first place for day care wear and best smile. Hunt will compete in the finals on July 28 in Atlanta. She is the daughter of Carolyn Hunt.
LUMBERTON — As part of Lunchtime on the Plaza, Lumberton’s DARE Band will play from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
Bag lunches, of a grilled burger, chips, a dessert and soda, will be for sale for $3.50 between those times.
This is the first of two events. The next will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on May 27.
