NAACP meets on Saturday
LUMBERTON — The Unified Robeson County branch of the NAACP will hold its monthly meeting Saturday at the Generation of The Church, which is at 103 Grace St.
The public is welcome at the meeting, which begins at 11 a.m.
Friends set pet event
LUMBERTON — Franny’s Friends will hold a small pet adoption and yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m Saturday at Carolina Pickers at 2500 Fayetteville Road.
All donations of pet supplies, old and new, are greatly appreciated. Individuals to provide foster care for the animals are also needed.
