Leslie Marie Locklear and Michael John Lowery were married Oct. 23 at

the wedding chapel in Dillon, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of James Ree and Glenda Joyce Locklear and

the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roman Jacobs and the late

Mr. and Mrs. Willie James Locklear. She attended West Robeson High

School and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She works for

the Public Schools of Robeson County.

The groom is the son of John Wesley and Janet Lowery and the grandson

of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lowery. He attended Magnolia High School and

works for Broadwell Land Company of Fayetteville.

A pantry and bridal shower was hosted by Shirlean Bullard, Debbie

Watson and Lisa Lowry at St. Pauls Elementary School.

The couple resides in Lumberton.
