Man found nude in municipal building

LUMBER BRIDGE — A Shannon man is accused of breaking into the Lumber Bridge Town Hall on Saturday while nude.

A sheriff’s report said deputies found 26-year-old Nikoma LaShawn Jones sitting on the floor of the Town Hall at 101 Railroad St. at about 9:20 a.m. He apparently had broken a window to get inside, the report said.

Jones was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering and taken to the Robeson County jail. He was placed under a $1,000 bond.

Damages to the municipal building were placed at $150.
