LUMBERTON — A 23-year-old Raeford man was shot on Thursday night but was not seriously injured, according to Lumberton police Lt. Harold Jackson.
Desman Locklear was shot in the leg at about 7:30 p.m. in a field near Parkview Activity Center on Inman Street, according to Jackson.
Jackson said Locklear was arguing with girlfriend, who then called her brother. The brother arrived in a vehicle and shot Locklear. Jackson said the brother is a juvenile.
No other information was released.
