ST. PAULS — Authorities are looking for a 34-year-old St. Pauls man who forced his way into a Howell Road home on Sunday and robbed four people, including two children, at gunpoint, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

Leon Antonio McDuffie, of 247 Marion Road, was with two teenagers who entered the home at about 9:30 p.m., according to sheriff’s Maj. Howard Branch. Deavonte Maurice Willis, 17, of 132 Maple Leaf Drive, and Kadeem Deon Inman, 18, of 468 Corner Oak Drive, were arrested on Monday and were each charged with armed robbery, first-degree burglary and conspiracy and given a $25,000 bond.

A woman who lives at the home answered a knock at the door and found one of the men standing there with a firearm, Branch said.

“The victim was waiting for a friend, gets a knock on the door and she thinks it’s the friend but it’s not, it’s these guys,” Branch said.

Branch said McDuffie, Willis and Inman told a man, a woman and two children who were at the home to get down on the floor while they searched the home and took two televisions and a video game system. The three men then fled from the home in a black Ford Crown Victoria, Branch said.

The car was later stopped, and Willis and Inman were arrested, Branch said.

McDuffie is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds, according to records at the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. He has the name “Lee” and a cross tattooed on his left forearm.

McDuffie has previously faced charges of common law robbery, possession of schedule II drugs, manufacture of schedule II drugs, trespassing and possession of a weapon of mass destruction.

Still shocks me at the scum on the streets. Yet everybody is wondering why these scum keep doing crimes. There is no punishment. If the justice system starts doing something with these idiots crime rate will go down. At least cut their hand off so they can't steal and maybe the public would know, he probably dont work so taxpayers are paying for half these idiots. At least he wont be able to steal as good or eat as much not like he needs it to work he is to busy robbing people. Some might say thats wrong but I say dont do the crime and you wont have to worry about it. As long as we got this justice system and they keep getting off with slap on wrist then its just going to get worse.

I agree with you completely! But chances are if we cut their hands off, the way they do in other countries, taxpayers would end up paying the lousy good for nothings a disability check!!!

@robesonliving:".......wondering why these scum keep doing crimes.....". Well, I'll tell you. They just haven't broken into or invaded the right house yet. Let 'em try it around Marietta & the State Line Road area. We won't even call 9-1-1. Bring it on, homeys.

@kimber we probably already pay for everything he gets now. Least he wont be able to steal from other hard working people that work for what they get. Shouldn't get anything handed to them if they act like this crazy idiot if dont like it again dont do the crime and dont have to worry about it.
