Jan Maynor
LUMBERTON — Jan Hester Maynor of Lumberton has been named the executive director of the Lumber River Council of Governments, a planning and service agency representing Bladen, Hoke, Richmond, Robeson and Scotland counties.
Maynor, a native of Bladen County, began working for the Lumber River Council of Governments as a regional planner in 1987 and was later promoted to regional planning director.
