Melvin Thomas, 59, of Laurinburg, died Nov. 22, 2012, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bright Hopewell Baptist Church, the Rev. Garland Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by a son, Melvin Thomas of Fayetteville; a daughter, Melissa Thomas of Charlotte; and three grandchildren.
