To the Editor,
Will someone please tell me why gasoline in St. Pauls, N.C., is still at $3.50 a gallon in some places? Why is it high here in St. Pauls, N.C., while in Lumberton and the surrounding counties it is $3.28 and lower? Why are the merchants who own gas stations in St. Pauls, N.C., not making the adjustments like they should to lower the price?
St. Pauls merchants, do you miss my smiling face? I can buy my gas in Lumberton, along with my chips and honey buns and my cup of coffee and my morning newspaper.
