To the Editor,

Over the course of the past few weeks, we have been preparing for our summer internships at NASA Kennedy Space Center. We have been receiving countless congratulations and praise. We are really looking forward to this experience to make our family at Robeson Community College proud.

It has been a pleasure to be students here at Robeson Community College. The instructors have introduced us to a world that has opened our eyes for tremendous growth. We are proud to say we are members of the RCC family and overwhelmed to be in a project which is supported by not only college president Dr. Charles Chrestman, but RCC as a whole.

Robeson Community College has exceeded our expectations and the expectations of those around us. RCC has opened the door for us in ways that you would normally not associate with a community college. The faculty serves not only as your instructors, but also as your advisors and mentors.

We are both in a state of amazement at the opportunity set before us. We both understand that without encouragement of our advisors and support from this amazing campus, this internship would not be possible. The NASA CIPAIR grant is truly the first of a kind here on our campus, and we are honored to pioneer this great venture which will open doors for us and also help to solidify RCC’s place as one of the best community colleges in the state.
