SRMC to offer flu shots

PEMBROKE — Southeastern Mobile Medical will offer flu shots during Pembroke Day on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The mobile unit will be stationed between the UNC Pembroke Library and the Old Main Building on the campus of UNC Pembroke.

The cost of the vaccine is $20 and can be paid in the form of a money order or personal check; cash is not accepted due to security reasons. Insurance will be filed for established patients who present a copy of their private insurance or Medicare/Medicaid card. For information, call 910-674-6144.

National Seat Check Saturday set

LUMBERTON — National Seat Check Saturday will be held on Saturday at Lumberton Chevrolet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Parents and caregivers can bring their child and the car seat and vehicle in which they ride, to make sure that the child is being correctly restrained during travel.
