RED SPRINGS — Robeson County Commissioner Noah Woods, the District 4 representative, and Commissioner Raymond Cummings, the District 5 representative, will hold a public forum at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Red Springs District Court at 218 S. Main St.
The purpose of the forum is to answer questions and receive comments concerning county-related issues.
LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Chapter of the NAACP will hold a Meet the Candidates forum with candidates running for the Lumberton City Council on Oct. 27.
The public is invited to the event, which begins at 6:30 p.m. The forum will include a question-and-answer period.
It will be held in the Townsend Building auditorium, across the street from the Robeson County Public Library.
ROWLAND — The Lumbee Warriors Association will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Alvin Ray Lowery’s Barn at 2189 N.C. 710 South. All veterans are welcome.
