No alternative to Putin?
Edgar Allen Poe wrote “The Purloined Letter,” in which a stolen letter was hidden in such an obvious place — in plain view — that only one man noticed this letter.
To cut to the chase: The only obvious candidate to oppose V.V. Putin in March 2012’s Russian presidential election is the incumbent: Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, date of birth 14 September 1965.
Putin can lose, and Medvedev can win.
