RED SPRINGS — Police are searching for a gunman who robbed a Red Springs business on Saturday.
The gunman entered the Pot of Gold Sweepstakes building at 805 E. Fourth Ave. at 10:53 p.m., pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk, according to Red Springs police Detective Tommy Wright. A single shot was fired and two customers suffered minor injuries from debris that was caused by the shot.
Wright said the gunman fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
