TyReke Addison, 7, and the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes are projected to finish 3rd in the Three Rivers Conference with an overall record of 3-7.

After Week One of Three Rivers and Southeastern Conference games, here’s a predicted look at how Robeson County teams will fare the rest of the season. Keep in mind, I’ve never claimed to be a fortune teller.
Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (1-5, 1-0 Three Rivers)
Remaining schedule: at West Columbus, Red Springs, at East Columbus, St. Pauls
Projected remaining schedule record: 2-2. The Golden Tornadoes’ pivotal game is Friday’s battle with West Columbus. Win that game on the road and Fairmont could finish in second place or better. Fairmont began league play with an overtime win over South Robeson.
Projected final record: 3-7 overall, 3-2 Three Rivers (3rd)
Red Springs Red Devils
(0-7, 0-1 Three Rivers)
Remaining schedule: East Columbus, South Robeson, Fairmont, West Columbus
Projected remaining schedule record: 1-3. The Red Devils have a troubling final four games with road trips to Fairmont and South Robeson. To avoid a winless season, the final game against West Columbus is a must-win. I think Jonathan Harper’s team gets it done.
Projected final record: 1-10 overall, 1-4 Three Rivers (6th)
South Robeson Mustangs
(2-5, 0-1 Three Rivers)
Remaining schedule: St. Pauls, at West Columbus, Red Springs, at East Columbus
Projected remaining schedule record: 3-1. The Mustangs lost in overtime at Fairmont last week, but have the horses to make a run at the conference title over the last four week.
Projected final record: 5-6 overall, 3-2 Three Rivers (2nd)
St. Pauls Bulldogs
(1-6, 1-0 Three Rivers)
Remaining schedule: at South Robeson, East Columbus, West Columbus, at Fairmont
Projected remaining schedule record: 1-3. The best case scenario for the Bulldogs would be to split the season’s last four games with two coming at home and two on the road. I see St. Pauls beating West Columbus and falling in the other three contests. Quarterback Kalem Hunt is the key to success as the season winds down.
Projected final record: 2-9 overall, 2-3 Three Rivers (4th)
Purnell Swett Rams
(7-0, 1-0 Southeastern)
Remaining schedule: at Richmond, at Pinecrest, Hoke County, Lumberton
Projected remaining schedule record: 2-2. While the Rams have looked impressive thus far, the meat of the schedule is still to come.
Friday’s matchup in Rockingham againt the No. 5 Raiders is not a winnable game, but the Rams should win against the Patriots and Bucks. Ethan Clark and Jock Clark will continue to fight for team offensive most valuable player honors with Travon Clark being a surprise new addition.
Projected final record: 9-2 overall, 3-2 Southeastern (3rd)
Lumberton Pirates
(5-2, 1-0 SEC)
Remaining schedule: at Hoke County, at Richmond County, Scotland County, at Purnell Swett
Projected remaining schedule record: 3-1. The Pirates are setting up for a home playoff game in the first round if they can take care of business against Hoke and Scotland. Coach Mike Brill is scared to death of Hoke County, calling the Bucks’ spread offense the best his team will face all season. “I don’t know how anyone stops those guys,” Brill said.
Projected final record: 8-3 overall, 4-1 Southeastern (2nd)

I will be glad to talk and I'll respond in a timely manner.
Are you serious! Purnell vs Richmond is not a winnable game? Dude, you forget this is high school football with high school kids playing. Within the top teams in the conference, everybody can beat everybody.
If you don't think that Scotland is for real then you will understand when you see them play.
My main point here is that this article is a little too early to try and determine who wins the conference.
