RALEIGH — A 34-year-old Robeson County man will serve 21 years in prison after being found guilty of selling crack cocaine out of a garage on Huggins Road in Red Springs, according to a statement from U.S. Attorney Thomas G. Walker.
Kendall Ladell Blue, who lived in Red Springs, bought cocaine from several sources and then resold it as crack cocaine from 2002 to 2010, according to the statement. Blue was armed during each transaction, according to the statement.
Blue was found guilty on Aug. 8 of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute, distributing 28 grams or more of crack cocaine, and several counts of distributing crack cocaine, according to the statement. He was sentenced this week.
Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation.
