To the Editor,
We would like to congratulate the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina for all the wonderful work it is doing for the people in the Pembroke area. We also want to compliment the organization for their beautiful building which it built on 711, for all to see as they enter Pembroke. It is certainly as assert to the area landscape. The added play area is very thoughtful for the pleasure of the local children.
And we want to thank them for all the work they have done to our home in a quick and extremely professional way. The contractors we chose to do the work worked in a timely, polite and courteous manner. And they definitely knew their work.
So thank you Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina and a special thank you to those who helped us in our time of need. Special thanks to Mr. Boscoe Locklear, Carol Ann Chavis, Tanya Lowery and Marbeth Pevia.

Lumberton has the million dollar DSS building for the "gimmie free stuff" crowd, and you guys have the turtle building for your "gimmie free stuff" crowd.
Is there no shame anymore? Ability and work ethic are terrible things to waste. Pride and morals are a thing of the past.
Enjoy your repairs that your neighbors were forced to pay for. What happened to family and self reliance, when someone needs a little work around the house? Oh, well................
"Restitution", What? For what? Nobody alive today has had anything "taken" from them except us taxpayers. I want restitution for my tax dollars being stolen. Give me my money back, it's obvious the handouts aren't working. I want YOU to explain why YOU think someone deserves ANOTHER MANS HARD EARNED MONEY. Show me a person standing in line with their hand out who's land was taken, just one. Don't give me this 200 years ago crap, everbody that was alive back then is DEAD NOW. Get some pride, people or get a job.
Ps. And I detected a hint of umm, well.... Let's just say I'm allowed to say what I want about natives, I get a special pass from the news media, democrats and the locals. Figure it out. Ross, American. US army, N.R.A.(God is an honorary member), Republican conservative of America, SBA. All the clubs I belong to, allow all races to join.... UNLIKE the lumbee club. Jesus himself couln't join if he wanted too.
The rich and the government employee entitlements are costing far more to the taxpayers. Get informed on all entitlements before you cast the first stone at the poor.
Yes there are plenty of lazy undeserving people with their hand out. But they are not all Native Americans. In fact the natives are the smallest %
of freeloaders.
Oh in one of your answers' did you really say ? "Why do you think it's anger for wanting to keep what's mine." Hey, maybe the natives are still angry about what was taken from their grandfathers of long ago.
