Two teenagers injured in shooting

LUMBERTON — Two Lumberton teenagers were injured in a shooting Thursday morning at Lumbee Homes at 908 Powell St., according to Capt. Johnny Barnes of Lumberton police.

Barnes said Billy Lewis, 19, of the 200 block of Mud Alley Road, was shot in the left arm, and Deontte Bethea, 18, of the 300 block of Paris Street, who was shot in the right arm and had a minor wound to his chest. Both were treated and released at Southeastern Regional Medical Centers.

Barnes said Friday morning no one had been arrested and the investigation was ongoing.

Billy was minding his own buisness at a friends and this punk that had previously robbed my sister of her jewelry tried coming after my brother. Too bad that pos theif didnt die
