William Knight, 92, of 117 Summer Lane, died Oct. 13, 2012, at his home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elizabeth Heights Baptist Church, the Revs. Terry Locklear, Gregory Locklear and Horace Oxendine officiating. Interment will follow in the Oxendine Cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, Micheal Hunt of Fayetteville, Luther Wilms and Jessie Maynor, both of Lumberton; two daughters, Darlene K. Maynor of Lumberton and Carolyn K. Locklear of the home; a brother, Curtis Knight of Michigan; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Elizabeth Heights Baptist Church.
