Wilton Cox

ORRUM — Wilton “Ray” Cox, 70, of Orrum, passed away Jan. 19, 2013, at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Broadridge Baptist Church, the Rev. Michael Longson officiating. Burial will follow in Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was born in Robeson County on Sept. 14, 1942, to the late Sam Cox and the late Madge Britt Cox.

He worked as a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary L. Cox; and a sister, Minnie Clewis.

Cox is survived by a brother, Wilbur Cox of Orlando, Fla; a sister-in-law, Barbara Cox of Orrum; two nieces, Anissa Cox Holt of Augusta, Ga., and Barbara Sue Thorpe of Laurinburg; and a nephew, Tommy Clewis of Rockingham.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services Inc.
