LUMBERTON — A Lumberton woman has been charged with six felony counts of fraud related to the use of a credit card that doesn’t belong to her, according to Lumberton police.
Elisha Nicole Bowden, 27, of 750 Moores Lane, Lumberton, was arrested on Friday and charged with five counts of obtaining property under false pretenses and one count of wrongful possession of property, according to Capt. Terry Parker of Lumberton Police Department.
“She used a credit card that wasn’t hers and kept that card,” Parker said.
Bowden made her first court appearance on Monday and was released on an unsecured bond.
County administrators confirmed Bowden works at the Robeson County Tax Office, but said the matter was personnel and they could not release any other information.
