Break-ins
LUMBERTON — Greg Perry, of T&D Solutions, of Beaumont, Texas, reported on Monday that someone cut through a fence at the city of Lumberton’s Electric Utilities Department at 420 Halsey St., and broke into T&D Solutions’ 2012 International truck and stole 45 copper jumper wires valued at $2,500 each and two rolls of copper wiring valued at $200, according to a police report. Damage to the fence was estimated at $30.
LUMBERTON — Laquanda Smith, of Mimosa Street, reported on Monday that someone broke into her home and stole $200 cash, according to a police report. Damage to a window was estimated at $150.
LUMBERTON — Sasha Gilchrist, of McDougald Street, reported on Monday that someone broke into her home, causing $50 damage to a window, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Lumberton police Officer Travis Ransom reported on Monday that someone broke into a vacant home at 213 Spruce St. belonging to the Lumberton Housing Authority, causing $150 damage to a window, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Paul Abner, of West Carthage Road, reported on Monday that someone broke into one of his vacant rental homes at 555 Candlemire Road and stole scrap aluminum valued at $100, according to a police report.
