Break-ins

LUMBERTON — Glen Nantz, of the city of Lumberton at 500 N. Cedar Street, reported on Monday that someone pushed in the window to ar bathroom at the Beach House on Branch Street at Luther Britt Park, and stole eight rolls of toilet paper valued at $20, according to a police report. Damage to the window was estimated at $100.

The following people reported break-ins to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Cassandra King, of Kite Road, Lumberton; Donna Smith, of Macie Road, Pembroke; Joanna Hunt Lambert, of N.C. 72, Lumberton; Dinita Labell Robinson, of Chime Drive, St. Pauls; Bobby Johnson, of Sealey Drive, Rowland; Merlin Oxendine, of Morgan J Road, Shannon; Bryan Jones, of Everett Road, Parkton; Roger Scott, of Coward Drive, Fairmont; Bobby Matthew McLellan, of Pelican Drive, Rowland; and Lashana Lata Locklear, of N.C. 72, Lumberton.

Since when does 8 rolls of toilet paper cost $20? Man the city needs to re-think where they shop!

There must be a new drug that requires the use of toilet tissue. This is the only reason they'd steal that. A thief and drug abuser would have no other reason for toilet paper..... sick.

I think I have seen it all. Breaking into a place to steal toilet paper. A felony to take $20 worth of goods. Pure rocket scientist that did that crime.
