LUMBERTON — Robeson Community College will hold a fashion show to raise money for scholarships at the A.D. Lewis Auditorium on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for general admission, $3 for children younger than 10 and seniors older than 65, and free for RCC students with a valid ID.

MAXTON — Maxton American Indian Network will hold a lecture by Rep. Charles Graham in honor of Native American Heritage month at the Campbell Soup Supply Co. at 2120 N.C. 71 on Nov. 8 at 11 a.m.
Rep. Graham will speak on a topic of his choice.
LUMBERTON — The Boys and Girls Club of Robeson County will hold an alternative to trick-or-treating on Wednesday from 4 to 5 p.m. at the club’s location at 1310 Seneca St.
The event, called “Dunk-or-Treat,” is open to youths ages 6 to 18. A raffle will feature prizes of sports memorabilia, including a jersey worn by Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant.
DURHAM — Carolina Tiger Rescue, a sanctuary for abandoned and rescued animals, will hold a Black Tie and Tails Ball on Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham.
The Black Tie and Tails Ball, which features live and silent auctions, food, games, and dancing, helps raise money for expenses necessary to care for the animals.
