Irine Hunt

LUMBERTON – Irine Hunt, 69, of Lumberton, passed away peacefully Feb. 1, 2013, at her home with Jesus by her side.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel Lumberton, the Revs. Adam Ransom and Jeff Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Locklear family cemetery on Huggins Road in Lumberton.

She was born Feb. 23, 1943, to the late Floral “Mitt” Jones and Monroe Jones.

Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hunt, a brother, John T. Jones; a sister, Catheryine Jones; and a stepdaughter, Beatrice Clark.

She is survived by her sisters, Betty Lou and L. H. Jones, both of Shannon, Flora Jane Jones of Maxton, and Beulah Jones of Red Springs; her brothers, Rudolph and Clementine Jones, both of Lumberton, Luther and Susie Jones, and Eartle and Ruby Jones, both of Orrum; her grandchildren, Jonathan Clark and Vlen Anna Clark, both of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Revels Funeral Home Lumberton.
