CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — Bo Stone, a row crop farmer in Rowland, has been named a finalist for the Faces of Farming and Ranching, a search for national agriculture spokespeople by The Food Dialogues: New York, U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance. A public vote will determine whether or not he will ultimately be selected.

Members of the public can vote until Dec. 15 for whom they believe should be chosen as one of the Faces of Farming and Ranching.

The winners will become the faces of agriculture, and will be tapped to share stories and experiences on a national stage to help shift conversations about food production and set the record straight about the way to feed the nation.

Others finalists include Chris Chinn of Missouri, Will Gilmer of Alabama, Daphne Holterman of Wisconsin, Brenda Kirsch of Oregon, Tim Nilsen of California, Eric McClam of South Carolina, Katie Pratt of Illinois and Janice Wolfinger of Ohio.
