MAXTON — A Maxton woman has been arrested and charged with breaking in a home on Thursday, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
Megan Brooke Locklear, 23, of 619 Old Landing Road, is charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny in the break-in of a home belonging to Maybell Elk on Old Landing Road. Locklear is out of jail on a $5,000 secured bond.
Neighbors heard glass breaking and saw Locklear run out of the home’s front door, according to sheriff’s Maj. Howard Branch. Deputies responded to an alarm and later found Locklear and a $2,000 watch belonging to Elk, Branch said.
Elk reported $300 damage to her home.

They shouldn't lock that youngin up. She had to have a good reason, and look how pitiful she look in the picture. I mean, why lock her up when she just gonna get out and do it again, right? that's just burning up extra gas riding her back and forth like that.
