PEMBROKE — Investigators say that a fire that destroyed an office at an apartment complex early Saturday morning was intentionally set. According to Pembroke police Sgt. Ed Locklear, an estimated $40,000 to $50,000 of damage was done to the 270-square-foot rental office at Pembroke Square Apartments at 8393 Deep Branch Road.
