County considers fines for junkyard violations
LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Board of Commissioners on Monday will consider an amendment to the county’s junkyard-control ordinance that will stiffen penalties for violations. The amendment, recommended by the county Planning Board, will charge a $50 fine for any offense, with the violator given up to 30 days to come into compliance with the ordinance.
