DURHAM (AP) — A North Carolina Highway Patrol trooper is recovering after being shot during a traffic stop in Durham. Officers continued to search this morning for the person who did the shooting. Patrol Sgt. Maurice Devalle told The Herald-Sun of Durham that Trooper Mike Potts had surgery Monday night at Duke University Hospital.
