Members of the Spirit Riders, an all-female motorcycle group, will hold a bike run in an effort to raise $5,000 to help students at Union Elementary School.  The fundraiser is the first in what the group plans to be a yearly event, benefiting a different school in the county each year and taking place on the first Sunday of every August.

FAIR BLUFF — Willard Small, the president of Lumberton Ford Lincoln, was recently awarded The Order of the Long Leaf Pine at a ceremony at the Fair Bluff Baptist Church’s Christian Life Center.
