Seven years ago I wrote about the Lumberton Radiological Associates’ Lumber River Run. It was one of the most memorable of the now named Rumbas to the Lumber. The Robeson Rifle Guards Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans made a large donation toward the purchase of the monument for the Spanish American War for the library’s garden.
