This is the fourth panel of the recreated mural located in Fairmont's Heritage Park. The mural was originally painted in 2006, but was painted over in June 2012. Tom Volkman, art teacher at Fairmont High School, decided to paint the mural on five panels that can be taken down in case to allow for future maintenance.

FAIRMONT — Motivated by his love for art, Tom Volkman quickly accepted Mayor Charles Kemp’s request to reinvent a mural on the south wall at Fairmont’s Heritage Park. The original mural, created by local artist Matt Taylor, disappeared in June 2012 when maintenance work had to be done to seal the wall to protect it from moisture.
