Blowing in the wind: State can't afford windmill power
To the Editor,
Have you heard the good news? The governor and the Council of State are thinking big again. Windmills are coming to North Carolina and bringing: 400 new jobs, $1 million per year to the landowners, and enough electricity to supply 55,000 homes.
This could be the best idea since the Southport International Seaport. So what’s not to like?
