LUMBERTON — St. Pauls’ Tristian Lupo and Monta Smith finished as the top two runners at the Three Rivers Conference cross country meet on Wednesday at Luther Britt Park in Lumberton.
Corry Addison led the way for the Golden Tornadoes in third, with Jessie Pratt crossing the finish line for a fifth-place finish.
Daniel Murray finished as South Robeson’s top runner and Gary Locklear earned top honors for Red Springs.
In the girls race, Keira Bryant finished ahead of the pack for the Lady Red Devils to log top honors.
Jazmine Lorenzo led St. Pauls and Tajay Monroe paced South Robeson. Itzia Tellez finished ninth for Red Springs.
Whiteville took five of the top 10 spots with Hannah Duncan, Fatima Reyes, Alexandria Bellamy, Arianah Jamison and Maria Rojas leading the team.
The Lumberton soccer team earned a convincing 5-0 victory over Richmond on Wednesday, setting up an intriguing match with Pinecrest tonight in Lumberton.
