It has become evident the citizens of Robeson County no longer have a voice as to what goes on in this county; this is unfortunate since, we the citizens, are the ones who not only pay taxes, which pay the salaries of county employees, etc,. but the county commissioners work for the citizens.
We do not work for them; apparently many are not aware of this since so many county issues are decided behind “closed doors” and the citizens are never given an opportunity for their input. It is now time for a county manager to be hired/appointed and we the citizens need to make certain we are given an opportunity to have input as to the selection of the county manager who will be in charge of “running this county” so to speak.
A committee is being formed of citizens who would like to become active in making certain the county manager, county commissioners, Health Department and other appointed/elected officials become aware they can be replaced and the time for us to stand up is now. It is time to make certain the organization chart for Robeson County is adhered to properly, which clearly has the “citizens” at the top of the chart and that the county is not run in the helter-skelter manner it has been for much too long.

Thanks to all of you who are contacting me - we will hopefully be able to make a big difference at the polls if not before and hopefully those who are elected by the citizens will finally be held accountable and be responsible for what occurs in Robeson County ...
Our efforts to succeed in making certain the County Commissioners, etc. become aware it is time the citizens be included in ALL aspects of what occurs in Robeson County will be successful only if we go forward in a peaceful, determined manner and not with any anger, etc. "We" already know WHO is at the TOP of the Orgaization Chart in this County - we now just need to make certain those we have "elected", etc. and whose salaries we pay, know we simply will no longer sit back and allow the "same ole same ole" to continue without "them" being held accountable -- hopefully those days will soon be over forever and we can certainly VOTE to have them removed from the "stage" each month - many times with "academy award acting" and a lot of "double talk".
