Betty Hunt was presented with the Irma Hester Citizenship Award at the annual 911 Day, which was hosted recently by Councilman Leon Maynor and the city of Lumberton. Hunt represents Precinct 7 on the City of Lumberton Appearance Committee and the Weed and Seed Neighborhood Restoration Committee. More than 400 people attended the event at Luther Britt Park.
