Southeastern Regional Medical Center broke ground Tuesday for construction on the Southeastern Medical Clinic Red Springs. The new 10,000-square-foot clinic, which will combine the existing Johnson Medical Clinic and Red Springs Family Medicine, will be located next to the Southeastern Lifestyle Center on Mt. Tabor Road. Breaking ground were Southeastern Regional Medical Center Physician Services Manager Anne Ford, left, Physician Services Director Dean Ruth, Facility Services Manager Karen Kay, Vice President of Organizational Development Thomas Johnson, Vice President of Outpatient and Ambulatory Services Reid Caldwell, President/CEO Joann Anderson, Red Springs Mayor John McNeill, Red Springs Family Medicine Physician Assistant Bob Hollingsworth, Johnson Medical Clinic Family Nurse Practitioner Crystal Moore, Red Springs Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Fran Ray, Metcon Construction President Aaron Thomas, and David Cherry of Peterson Associates.
