At a recent meeting of the Colonel Thomas Robeson Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Linda Huggins presented a program called “Lumberton History and Landmarks,” which included a display of clippings and memorabilia that featured buildings, businesses and events, some of which involved the families of current chapter members. She also described the four county courthouses and the evolution of the hospitals that have served Lumberton.
